Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Welcome to Basyt. These terms govern your use of the site and its services. By using the site or creating an account you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Contents
1. Definitions
Wherever they appear in these terms, the following words have the meanings below:
- Site: the Basyt platform with all its pages and services.
- Operator: Intalex Trading, which owns and runs the site and is based in Doha, Qatar. "We" and "us" in these terms mean the operator.
- User: anyone who visits or uses the site, registered or not.
- Provider: a user who publishes a service they offer, whether an individual or a business.
- Customer: a user who browses services or contacts providers.
- Published service: what a provider publishes on the site, including descriptions, photos, prices and cities.
2. What the site is
- The site is an online platform where providers list their services and customers find and contact them.
- The site is not a party to any agreement between a customer and a provider. It does not provide the listed services itself and does not receive any payment for them.
- The site does not guarantee the quality, timing or price of services, or the accuracy of what providers say about themselves, and does not verify their licences.
- Agreeing on the details, price, payment and warranty of a service is the sole responsibility of the customer and the provider.
3. Your account
- Accounts are created with a mobile number verified by a code sent to it.
- You must be at least 18 years old, and the number must belong to you or you must be authorised to use it.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account. Never share your verification code; we never ask for it outside the login page.
- You can log out of all devices at any time from the settings page if you suspect your account is used elsewhere.
4. Provider obligations
When publishing a service, the provider agrees:
- That the service is real and they can actually provide it, and that its description, price and cities are accurate and not misleading.
- To hold the licences and permits their country requires for this service.
- That photos show their own work or content they have the right to publish, and do not show people without their consent.
- Not to put phone numbers, links or social media handles in the text or on photos; customers reach providers through the show-number button, and the site may remove such details automatically.
- Not to publish the same service more than once.
- To update, pause or delete the service if it changes or they stop providing it.
A service stays published for 90 days from publication or renewal, and can be renewed from My services in its last week or after it ends. We remind you on the site, and by notification email if you added one, before it ends and when it does. An expired service stays in your account for 90 days so you can renew it, then it leaves your account.
5. Comments
- Comments are public. Each one shows its author's name, if they set one, and their public ID.
- Each user can post a limited number of comments per service, and the provider a limited number of replies per comment, as set by the site's admins. You can delete your comment and write another.
- Comments must not contain phone numbers, links, emails or social media accounts in any form, even split up or spelled out. To get in touch, use the message or show-number button.
- The site checks every comment before publishing it, with automatic rules and AI, and does not publish anything that breaks these terms, such as abuse, ads or prohibited services.
- Providers can hide comments on their services, and the site may hide or delete any comment.

7. Use of artificial intelligence
- The site uses AI to tidy and translate service texts between Arabic and English, suggest categories and cities, remove contact details, check content and comments before publishing, understand searches and translate provider names.
- Translations and categories can be wrong, which is why you see a preview before publishing. Providers are responsible for reviewing the preview and correcting anything needed, before and after publishing.
- Where the Arabic and English versions of a service differ, the text the provider wrote in their original language prevails.
- Automatic checks may send a service to review or block it; the site may review and change these decisions.
8. Review and removal
- The site may review any published service and hide, reject or delete it if it considers that it breaks these terms, without prior notice where necessary.
- The site may edit a published service as far as needed to apply these terms, for example by removing contact details from its text.
- The site may refuse any service and tell its provider why; the reason appears in My services.
- The site may suspend any account that breaks these terms or is used for fraud or harassment. A suspended account is logged out everywhere, its services are removed and its comments hidden; they return as they were if the account is restored.
- You can report any service or user that breaks these terms through the contact details at the end of this page.
9. Safety tips for customers
- Check the provider before agreeing, and ask to see previous work or licences when relevant.
- Do not pay large amounts in advance before the work starts or is inspected.
- Agree on the price, what the work includes and how long it takes before starting, preferably in writing.
- Never share your verification code or bank details with anyone.
- Be careful with requests to pay in cryptocurrency or to transfer money to accounts in other countries.
10. Intellectual property
- You keep ownership of the texts and photos you publish.
- By publishing content you grant the site a free, non-exclusive licence to display, copy, translate, format and resize it, on the site, in search engine results and when it is shared, for as long as it is published.
- The site's design, logo and software belong to the site and may not be copied or used without written permission.
- Automated collection of data from the site, or copying services and providers' numbers for any purpose, is not allowed.
11. Limitation of liability
- The site is provided as is, without any guarantee that it will always work without interruptions or errors.
- The site is not liable for any damage or loss arising from dealings between customers and providers, from the services themselves, or from content published by users.
- You agree to compensate the site for any claim or damage arising from your breach of these terms or of applicable laws.
12. Privacy
- Your mobile number is shown only if you choose to show it, and only to logged-in users who tap the show-number button.
- We use your approximate location, estimated from your IP address, to show services in your country and to protect the site from abuse.
How we collect and use your data is explained in the privacy policy
13. Ending your use
- You can pause or delete your services at any time from My services.
- To have your account and its data deleted permanently, contact us; we will do so unless a law requires us to keep some of it.
- The site may suspend or delete your account if you break these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms from time to time and will update the date at the top of this page.
- We will notify you on the site about any material change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
15. Applicable laws
- These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from use of the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Doha have jurisdiction.
- This does not take away the protection that mandatory consumer protection laws in your country give you.
- When using the site you must follow the laws of your country and of the country where the service is provided.
- If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in force.
16. Contact
For any question about these terms, to report a service or user that breaks them, or to ask us to delete your account, contact us.

These terms are available in Arabic and English. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
